Why Curses Aren’t a Good Idea

Dark Hunter

Here I want to explain why you should better think twice before casting a curse on somebody.

First of all, you don’t really want your enemies to die in pains and suffering. What you really want is to make your life better. But in order to succeed, you need to concentrate on one goal instead of spreading your energy between multiple ones.

What would you prefer: your enemies to disappear, or the troubles they are making to you to disappear? If you had these two options:
1) Those bastards are still there, their life is OK, but they no longer make any troubles to you;
or
2) Those bastards died by any sadistic way you can imagine, but there come new bastards and start to create the same troubles to you; — what would you choose?

Even if you can do anything with your occult abilities, you cannot do everything at once. You have to set your priorities.

I’m not talking about any “moral” considerations of the situation; there’s no morality in occultism. I’m pointing to the purely practical aspects.

Curses are a bad investment (especially when they look like a good one). They are just inefficient, giving a modest result for a huge amount of energy spent. First, it’s way easier to change something in your own life than in somebody else’s. Second, in 99 of 100 cases the curse-maker wants actually something else, and gets surprized to see that the curse did work but did not solve the problem, or even worsened it instead.

If your desire to punish somebody who makes troubles to you is greater than the desire of your own happiness, it’s a reason to visit a psychologist instead of trying to do occult things. This is not a healthy state of mind; this is what, for example, a suicide terrorist feels: “I gonna die, but I’ll kill everybody on this godless airplane for the sake of Allah!” A person thinking and feeling like this is out of touch with reality; he’s in touch with bugs in his head instead. It’s not a state of mind suitable for occult actions.

In order to succeed in your occult practices, you need first to clearly understand your real desires. It does not work to say “I want to do A so that it makes B to happen and finally brings me C”. What does work is “I want C, and it’s not my business to get into all details of how I’ll get it”.

And if you truly and really want to get rid of those bastards who make troubles to you — do it by purely material ways. Use the powers and resources you have: physical, social, financial and so on. What if you have none? This means that you aren’t mature enough to do such things.
